Welcome to The Kids Village Nursery - Ayrshire’s first Early Years Facility hosting a full interactive role-play village in which learning, creativity and curiosity are sparked and nurtured amongst children.

 

At TKV, we are firm believers that children learn best through play and adopt the Montessori Method in our facility – a child-centred method focused on self-directed learning and exploration, emphasising hands on activities, collaborative play and a carefully prepared environment, where children can freely choose their activities, snack times, and work at their own pace.

 

The roles of our Early Years Practitioners are to facilitate learning & guidance, rather than providing direct instructions.

 

Our nursery is open plan, with areas free flowing onto one another and circling around the central piazza, where the eating area is situated. We cater to children aged 2-5 on a private and funded basis.
